Grants to Tackle Health Inequalities (London)9th February 2024

Grants of up to £15,000 are available for social action projects tackling health inequalities in London (within the boundary of the M25).

The London Castalyst's Partners for Health funding programme is open to registered charities working with an experienced health agency (including NHS and specialist services) or community partner to improve the health of vulnerable people, or support clients with long term health conditions, complex needs and/or disabilities.

Examples of projects previously supported by the programme:

  • The Anne Robson Trust: £8,223 to work with two hospitals, Chelsea & Westminster and Northwick Park, to set up teams of volunteers to visit patients in the last days of their life
  • Healthwatch Camden: £15,160 for a peer-led support network and awareness campaign for girls and women in Camden living with endometriosis
  • Vision Care for Homeless People: £5,440 to pilot a mobile optician’s service for homeless people, providing sight tests, eye screening and glasses

Priority is given to charities with an annual income of less than £500,000.

The funding is made available by London Catalyst, in partnership with the Hospital Saturday Fund.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on the 31st May 2024.
