Funding for Zero Emission Community Transport Vehicles (Scotland)6th June 2023

Funding is available to help community transport operators in Scotland to purchase zero emission community transport vehicles.

The Plugged-in Communities Grant Fund will cover 100% of costs for the replacement of one community transport vehicle with zero emission community transport vehicles, up to a cost of £75,000 per vehicle. This can be either purchase cost or lease costs, and excludes VAT, for zero-emission vehicles including

• Cars 
• Light goods vehicles
• Minibuses 
• Mopeds/ motorcycles 

Vehicles must be ordered, and any charging infrastructure installed by the end of March 2024.

The funding is made available by Transport Scotland, and administered by the Energy Saving Trust.

Applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve bases until all funding has been allocated.
